Congratulations to the entire YHS Rowing Community for an outstanding performance at the Mid Atlantic Erg Sprints on January 30. Yorktown won the point trophy as the Top High School overall for the first time in its history and had the largest number of rowers competing. Heading up the long list of medal winners were the mixed relay teams of Tabby Adeline, Hannah Yoest, Steve Cauffman and Leon Suvak (Gold) and Annmarie Wamstead, Shannon Johnston, Ben Vihstadt and Peter Bacas (Bronze). Rarely if ever does a school put two teams in the top three of the mixed relay, so this was a truly remarkable achievement. In addition to the team achievements the following individuals took medals at the competition:
